SAF 4000 | SKP | AIR FILTER

In modern pneumatic systems, clean and properly filtered compressed air is essential for maintaining the reliability and service life of pneumatic equipment. Water, dust, solid particles, and other contaminants in compressed air can affect valves, cylinders, actuators, and control components.

The SKP SAF 4000 is an Air Filter designed to remove contaminants and condensed moisture from compressed air before it reaches downstream pneumatic equipment.

The SAF Series uses a standard 10 μm filter element, while optional filtration ratings of 2, 5, 20, and 40 μm are available. The SAF 400 configuration supports 1/2" and 3/4" port sizes, depending on the selected configuration.

• SAF 400 configurations are available with 1/2" and 3/4" ports.
• Thread options include Rc (PT), NPT, and G (PF) depending on configuration.

Durable Construction:

• Filter body constructed using ALDC.
• Standard bowl material is polycarbonate (PC).
• A metal bowl option is also available for suitable configurations.

Replaceable Filter Element:

• The filter element can be replaced during maintenance.
• SKP recommends replacing the filter element every 2 years, or earlier if the pressure drop reaches 1 bar (0.1 MPa).

Automatic Drain Option:

• The SAF Series can be configured with an automatic drain.
• When an automatic drain is used, SKP recommends a minimum operating pressure of 1.5 bar.
• Drain piping should be at least 4 mm in diameter and less than 1 m in length.
